Why is corey so gay
One houseguest, in particular, has been the cause of a lot of speculation this season and it's gotten way out of hand. In this instance, talk about whether Big Brother 18 houseguest Corey Brooks is gay has gone from initially playful to out of control.
The hashtag notgaycorey popped up on Twitter after Corey explained to the cameras and his fellow houseguests that he is straight multiple times. Corey made some questionable remarks in the house regarding sexual orientation , such as saying a party was "so gay. The subject got to him so much, that he even apologized to his mother for people possibly thinking he wasn't straight. Corey's appear fear of being portrayed as anything other than straight has lead to fans coining the hashtag notgaycorey, and using it to keep track of any moment between Corey and another man that could be construed as being a sign of Corey being gay.
Unfortunately, though the hashtag seemingly began as a way of pointing out Corey's own potential intolerant fear, it has become more damaging than funny. Corey's tales of being in a fraternity and playing sports seem to fit within a stereotype for a hypermasculine man, which can come with a set of beliefs that includes being fearful of being portrayed as homosexual.
He'll joke about finding guys attractive, but then when anyone insinuates that he could be gay he goes into a panic and does whatever he can to make sure people know he isn't gay, like being gay is something horrifying. To Corey, being gay is something that he is deeply scared of and doesn't understand, and his ignorance on the subject is rather appalling. Ignorance is the key word here. I don't think Corey has a lot of hate in his heart or anything, but I do think he has a lot to learn when it comes to dealing with homosexuality.
It's not just homophobic comments Corey has been called out for. On the live feeds over the weekend, Corey explained — with a smile on his face, no less — how his friend had purchased a goat and poured lighter fluid on it in attempts to light it on fire. It's safe to say that many Twitter users, including Herren, called out the way Corey told his story:.
Corey's goat story is awful, especially because he told it with a big grin on his face. And people laughed with him. BB18 Corey. Not only is Corey a homophobe but thinks it is funny that his frat almost burned a goat alive. I definitely would have been evicted this week because I would be protesting in the backyard. Not a fan of the goat "humor. I gave corey the benefit of the doubt because everyone has different political views and the tweets were old.
Many have also taken issue with how Corey joked about "beating the living crap" out of Nicole for pranking him.
Wow, that dbag "Corey" on BigBrother18 joking about "beating the crap" out of Nicole. Stay classy, bro. More Corey 'humor'. Regarding getting back at Nicole for a shaving cream like 'failed' prank.
Between Corey's goat story and his wanting to beat Nicole up line idek what to say.. This is hardly the first time that contestants have said controversial remarks during the livestreams. But in its 18 seasons, a houseguest has yet to be removed from the show for what they've said.
Mic has reached out to CBS for more information on its eviction procedures. The next episode of Big Brother 18 airs next at 8 p. Eastern on Wednesday. But, for an unfiltered view of the contestants, check out the hour livestream. Buddy Hield has connected on more 3-pointers through his first games than any player in NBA history. As a guy, I personally like being a guy. I don't know if you saw the stories last year.
They've been out for quite a bit about how he likes to go out at 3 o'clock in the morning for a manicure and a pedicure," Lonegan said. Lonegan was referring to an interview Booker did last summer with a newly launched magazine, Du Jour , in which he talked about getting manicures and pedicures. Lonegan said his team looked but was unable to locate such a business in Newark that is open 24 hours a day. That I can't address," Lonegan said. I have a more peculiar fetish.
I like a good Scotch and a cigar. That's my fetish, but we'll just compare the two. It's this guilty pleasure I have. Look, manis are good, but pedis — there's something Booker called Lonegan's comments "unacceptable" in an interview Wednesday with the Huffington Post.
